Video Description: Three students learn to play Salute which is a game designed to help students learn their subtraction facts by building on their ability to add. First two of them play the easy version then the three of the them play the difficult version. The game is then connected to family of facts and then is extended to double digit numerals. Students learn to connect double digit subtraction to story problems. Finally one student shows the others how to apply the Principle of Balance to make a three-digit subtraction a ‘simpler problem.'
