Classroom Kits A through F contain the following:

30 student decks of laminated ten-frame cards

(15 red, 15 blue, the decks can be sorted by letter A, B, C, …O, enabling lost cards to be returned to their appropriate decks )

A manual “Visual Strategies for Adding, Subtracting and Place Value”

Outlines a possible order for teaching children how to visualize the ten-frames to create the numbers from 1 to 20 and strategies for adding and subtracting numbers greater than 20. The manual also includes games to reinforce visualization, and assessment sheets for the basic addition and subtraction facts. Place value and creating meaning for the numerals are also discussed.
