Learn How to Add Using Power of Ten Shapes and Games CD

This special program of games and tutoring activities, based on learning research and the importance of visual clues in learning math, is designed to help early primary children learn their adding facts. The Compact Disk can be installed on your home or school computer. Once installed the program can be utilized by individuals and/or groups, and comes with optional manuals, a set of playing cards, extra games, and worksheets.

In the classroom, the program provides teachers with tools for helping students learn to add in an enjoyable way. It works best when it is used as a station. The games and instructions are simple and clear, so that students quickly become independent. Teachers can implement the activities for a full class, while generating individual reports. At home, parents will find their children love to participate in the program. Interactivity and positive reinforcement turn math into something students can enjoy while improving their addition skills. Purchase of related manuals is optional, but recommended for a complete program.

At this date the program is available for the PC computer only and is not yet available for networking or computer labs. Site licenses for installation in more than one classroom can be purchased for an additional $10 per classroom.
